Recorded Dec 28, 2018 in Süng, Germany. Long-, medium, and shortwave radio signals, kalimba, and OP-1 synthesizer processed live with a Ciat-Lonbarde Cocoquantus.

Mixed and mastered Dec 29 to Jan 2, 2019.

Listen with headphones for the best experience. There are some very quiet parts and, as with many of the Ciat-Lonbarde instruments, there is a very wide stereo field, which works best on headphones.

The cover artwork is a sketch of the longwave radio towers that are visible from the house where I grew up. They are still active, broadcasting the French station "Europe 1" on 183 kHz.
